Lisa Whipple: Hello all :) Welcome to the Sweat & Sparkles Blog! I'm a down to earth, give everyone a second chance, believe in happily-ever-afters type of gal! I love my life, even through day to day struggles not a moment passes that I don't count my many blessings. I'm just beginning my journey into health and fitness. Through my years I've been lucky to have a metabolism that has allowed me to eat what I wanted and exercise minimally. How would I describe myself? “Skinny-fat”. I have no muscle tone, no shape and I’m done settling for feeling just ‘okay’ about my body. SO, I am beginning to eat clean and work out on a daily basis. I'm learning so many interesting things along the way and I've already become connected with so many positive people! I’ve realized how much what we put into our bodies can impact us as we age. This isn’t just about phsycial appearance, it’s about taking care of myself, of my body. It’s about being HEALTHY! I hope to inspire people to lead healthier, more active lives. So please, follow my journey. I promise to post yummy HEALTHY recipes, fitness advice, motivational quotes and pics, funnies and probably a few puppy pictures! :)
